CLASSIC LEAGUE- GRADES 3-8

Our traditional town or Classic Program welcomes players of all ability levels! Our goal is to introduce the game to new players while also further developing the skills of our more experienced players in a fun environment that emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship. The Classic League is an 8-game season plus an end of the season Jamboree. Your daughter will be assigned to an evenly balanced team based on grade, skill, and experience. There are no "A" and "B" teams in the Classic League. To learn more about the Classic League, click here.

PRACTICE
3rd-8th grade teams will practice twice per week. 3rd-5th will practice after school from 2:00-3:15. (Exact schedule TBD based upon coach availability). 6th-8th will practice after school from 3:00-4:15. Skills practices for 7th & 8th may be slightly later. (Exact schedule TBD based upon coach availability.) The season begins in mid-March and will end in mid-June.

GAME DAYS
Sunday Games (1st-8th): 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/31, 6/7
Jamboree (5th-8th): Saturday 6/13 or Sunday 6/14 in Devens, MA
Jamboree (3rd-4th): Saturday 6/20 or Sunday 6/21 in Devens, MA

MULTI-SPORT ATHLETES
DGYL feels strongly about supporting our multi-sport athletes, so if your daughter is questioning whether or not to play because of potential conflicts, please know that we accommodate game switches due to game conflicts between sports. What does that mean? We have multiple teams at each grade level, so if your daughter's scheduled game time conflicts with another sport, we will allow her to jump to another team's game. Any other type of conflict will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

FEES
-3-8 Grade: $220 + MYL Fee

-MYL Membership Fee: 3rd-8th- $45 (Mass Youth Lacrosse provides yearly insurance for each player.To learn about the annual MYL fee, click here.) 

-3 or More Children Discount: $50

GOALIES
Goalies play for free! If your daughter is interested in playing full-time goalie, please reach out to us and we will send you a separate registration link.

Girls lacrosse stick (NO Fiddlesticks/BOYS sticks), goggles, mouth guard, cleats, water bottle

IN-HOUSE GRADES K-2

Our K-2 program runs on Saturday mornings in the spring. The K-2 Program focuses on introducing girls lacrosse in an environment that emphasizes FUN while developing basic fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.1st & 2nd graders will also be introduced to game-play during our in-house league and games against neighboring towns.

FEES

Fields: Pool/Train Fields

Days: Fridays 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 5/1, 5/8, 5/15, 5/29, 6/5 

Times: K - 4:30-5:30 , 1st/2nd - 4:30-6:00 

1st/2nd Graders will also be introduced to game play through our in-house league and games against neighboring MYL towns!
